We have walls!
The inspector said he wanted to see the drywall screws, so he came over at this point. Sadly for us he had a trainee inspector with him, so he took one look and pronounced it 'dismal', insisted on 3 or 4 extra screws in 2 panels, and signed it off anyway. It was all for the trainee's benefit, I am sure! We weren't allowed to tape or mud until it was signed off, but now it looks like this!
We're still missing a few other basics - kitchen, stairs, toilets, that kind of thing - but we have walls again!
