Kate's progress

For the first week that Kate was in a toddler bed, I was so proud that she was not getting out of bed (not at all!) that I bragged to anyone who would listen about how marvellous it was. It is certainly unparalleled in my experience!

And then after about a week, one night I went in and found this.



Although she is out of bed, she's still ON it. So far, so good.

The next night I found her asleep on the floor in her room.

And then last night I found this.



Her horizons are expanding. The range of her nocturnal habitat is increasing. I confidently predict that she will be coming downstairs ten times a night like every other two year old by the middle of next week.
