At some point in the general melee between Christmas and the New Year, on a day when nobody was throwing up, Nicholas asked to have the training wheels taken off his bike. He's actually been asking for weeks, but we've been so busy that we just haven't done it. So today we finally took the training wheels off his bike and took him outside to try. It took him three tries and he was off and away, riding about fifty feet before he fell off.
Stopping was a little problematic at first, but within about twenty minutes he was riding his bike! It was awesome - relatively pain free for us all! And he was so pleased with himself!
