Boys building things

The other night Adam stayed up late... he was building something and totally engrossed in his project. I told him to turn the light off a couple of times but anything I say is generally taken as a suggestion that can safely be ignored, so he was still awake and still engrossed when I went in to check on them before going to bed.

This is what greeted me when I walked in to his room... a scale model of the Eiffel Tower! The picture doesn't really do it justice, it was a very intricate construction.

Nicholas loves these toys, too, but he builds entirely different things. He is a more destructive force, and he's into wearable weaponry. He builds laser guns that wrap around his arm

and jet packs. He started with building jet packs for tickle baby

and progressed on to building wearable jet packs for himself.

He was particularly proud of this one, he came downstairs and said 'I builded a jet pack. Wiz wings!' That's my favourite part about it too... wiz wings!
