Sisters....

At bedtime last night Kate was bouncing. She had had a late nap and was not ready for bed. She was up and chatting for ages. At one point I went up to deal with Nicholas and Kate was in Ellie's bed. Ellie said that she had let her in. I did not for one minute think that it would last, but eventually everything went quiet upstairs. I assumed that she had gone back to her own bed, but when we went up to bed and went to tuck everyone in we found this:



Kate was all cuddled in to Ellie and they were both fast asleep. It was so sweet, one of those absolutely heart-melting moments that you can occasionally experience as a parent. We didn't want to disturb such a sweet thing and so we left them.

Then this morning, I was woken up by Kate coming in to tell me that Ellie had called her a poop-face. So, after a brief interlude of tenderness, we are all back to normal over here. Just in case you were wondering.
